La presión es real. Tengo que escribir y no sé qué escribir. Tengo que hacer algún relato y no sé cómo empezar.
El bloqueo escritor es frustrante. Abro un documento nuevo, lo miro, lo cierro. Voy a mi carpeta donde guardo todos los proyectos, abro uno, lo miro, lo leo un poco y lo cierro. Y así con todo. No sé qué es lo que me pasa pero no consigo centrarme en absolutamente nada.
Siento como si alguien se hubiese acercado a mí con una aspiradora mágica y me hubiera absorbido todas las ganas que tenía de escribir. ¿Quién dijo que esto fuese fácil?

“Si yo eso lo puedo hacer. Si quiero, me siento y me pongo a escribir y me sale una obra maestra a lo Sequespeare (léanlo tal cual)”.
Oh, ya… Esa clase de gente. Ningún escritor dijo esto jamás. Todo viene a partir de la «ignorancia», de no entender que ser escritor no es cosa que se consigue de la noche a la mañana.
Lo peor de no conseguir escribir es esa frustración que sientes. Es como si no estuvieras haciendo nada productivo en tu día a día. Te falta algo. Te han cortado tu brazo preferido. Te han robado una de las patatas fritas que habías pedido solo para ti. Es una sensación que te agobia y tu cabeza no para de repetir: “deberías estar escribiendo, ¿por qué no estás escribiendo? ¿Qué demonios haces cerrando el documento? No estás haciendo nada y eso está mal.”
Y sí, hay métodos (Spam: Sobre los 7 «consejos» para el bloqueo) que nos ayudan a volver a escribir pero creo que, en muchas ocasiones, se nos olvida uno importante: no escribir. A veces es necesario.
Quizá nos obsesionemos con esa idea: tengo, TENGO que escribir. Se nos olvida que también hay que descansar, despejar la mente y volver con las pilas cargadas.
No sé de quién leí que: con una frase que escribas al día es más que suficiente. Todos nos ponemos metas altas: 100 palabras, 200, 500… Y a veces con una frase que se nos ocurre, es suficiente. Esa frase nos dice que hemos escrito, que no hemos desperdiciado el día. ¿Y qué si no hemos escrito cuatro capítulos o ni un solo relato? ¿Quién dice que valemos menos por ello?
Como ya dije en una entrada anterior (Más spam: Sobre los escritores brújula y cómo enfrentarse a una novela): escribid por placer y no por obligación o por vender. Escribid porque así lo sintáis no porque os den consejos de que tenéis que escribir todos los días.
Y ahora el segundo motivo de esta entrada sin sentido: el título de la misma (¿Qué escribir cuando no estás escribiendo?). Es mi frase diaria, esa que debería escribir porque no sé sobre qué escribir. Esa que escribo porque mi mente no da para escribir las otras 94 que supuestamente me había propuesto escribir todos los días.
